(April 26 to May 17, 2022) Santa Rosalia is a small mining town. “The city was founded as a company town by the French Compagnie du Boleo in 1884, which established the local copper mines. Today the city is a popular tourist destination.” (Description from Wikipedia:

We stayed here longer than we planned because John needed time to recover from his overboard incident and I liked the Santa Rosalia Marina Fonatur and people.

***The day before our arrival, a Netflix crew started filming the TV series “American Jesus” in the surrounding areas. Most of the marina offices were being used by the filming crew. I understand the filming was delayed for two years because of the Pandemic. It is planned to be shown in November this year.
