Christmas Dinner at Sea?

Invitations are open to whales, sea turtles, dolphins, and Mother Nature…

We are almost ready to leave the USA. We plan to sail directly east to Longitude 65 from Stuart. (Some call this route ‘I-65’). Then, going south to Saint Martin. That way, we don’t have to struggle with the wind direction in the Bahamas. This will take about two weeks. We will go everywhere ‘With a Strong Will to Live’. Wish us fair wind and calm sea! Merry Christmas!

New riggings and light sail (Code Zero) on the boat are from Mack Sails in Stuart, Florida.

The main reason we stopped by Stuart was to meet a professional (from Mack Sails) to go over new installations on the boat. The plan was to dock at the marina but we realized the charted waterline of the bridge is low for us due to the raised water level (who knows why, maybe ‘King Tide’?). The boat needs 64’ tall high above water line and 6.5’ deep below the water line. We ended up anchoring Okeechobee Waterway in front of somebody’s front yard (?). No authorities have stopped by the boat. Actually, in Florida, it is allowed anchor as long as it is not in the channel.
One of the bridges we couldn't pass on the Saint Lucie River (Okeechobee Waterway).
